How view tracking works

A "view" is recorded each time your public link page is loaded. Here's exactly how we count views and how we handle bots and duplicates.

What counts as a view

A view is counted when your profile page fully loads in a browser or WebView. Each page load is counted — if the same person visits 5 times, that's 5 views.

Bot filtering

Known bots, crawlers, and monitoring tools are excluded automatically. We filter based on User-Agent strings and IP signatures from a continuously updated blocklist that includes Google, Bing, social media crawlers, and uptime monitoring services.

Same-visitor deduplication

Views are not deduplicated — each page load is counted. However, the analytics dashboard shows both raw views and unique visitors (based on anonymous fingerprinting) so you can compare both metrics.

Data freshness

Analytics data refreshes every 30 minutes. Real-time visitor count (visible in the header of your analytics page) updates every 60 seconds.

Your own visits to your profile page are excluded from view counts after the first visit per session. Dashboard preview loads are never counted.
