LinkStacked provides both real-time data (what's happening right now) and historical data (trends over time). Understanding the difference helps you use each effectively.
Real-time data
The real-time counter at the top of your analytics page shows how many visitors are on your profile page right now. It updates every 60 seconds. This is useful for monitoring the impact of a post you just made, checking a campaign launch, or watching a live event link.
Historical data
Historical analytics data is processed and aggregated in batches, refreshing every 30 minutes. Very recent clicks (in the last 30 minutes) may not yet appear in the charts — but the real-time counter accounts for these.
Why the counts might not match
The real-time counter and historical charts count slightly differently. Real-time uses active sessions; historical uses processed events. A small discrepancy of 1–5% is normal and expected.
If you've just posted on social and are expecting traffic, check the real-time counter first — the historical chart will catch up within 30 minutes.
