Managing permissions and access levels

Permissions determine what each team member can access and change in your account. LinkStacked uses role-based access control (RBAC) with three built-in roles.

Changing a team member's role

  1. 1Go to Dashboard → Team.
  2. 2Find the team member.
  3. 3Click the ⋯ menu on their row.
  4. 4Select "Change role".
  5. 5Choose the new role from the dropdown.
  6. 6Click "Confirm".

Role change effect

Role changes take effect immediately. If you downgrade a member from Admin to Viewer, they lose access to team management and billing the next time they load the dashboard.

Per-profile permissions

On Business plans with multiple profiles, you can give team members different roles on different profiles. A contractor might be an Editor on your main brand profile but have no access to your personal profile.

For granular per-feature permissions beyond the three built-in roles, upgrade to Enterprise which includes custom permission sets.
